Our review methodology
Our rankings are built to be useful, not pay-to-win. Here is exactly how every program earns its score — and how we keep editorial judgment separate from commercial relationships.
The five criteria we score
Each provider receives a 0–10 score on every criterion below. The weighted average becomes its overall score. Weights reflect what matters most for safety and value.
Medical oversight
Are licensed clinicians involved at every step? How rigorous is intake, dosing and follow-up?
Pricing & value
True all-in monthly cost, transparency of fees, and whether promo pricing holds after month one.
Medication options
Access to brand-name (Wegovy, Zepbound) and compounded semaglutide/tirzepatide, plus dosing flexibility.
Support & speed
Response times, shipping speed, and the quality of ongoing coaching or messaging support.
Member satisfaction
Aggregated member feedback, retention signals and independent review sentiment.
Editorial independence
We earn affiliate commissions when readers sign up with some of the providers we list, and this can influence which programs appear and how prominently. It does not influence the criteria above or the scores a provider receives.
Scores are set before commercial terms are considered. A paying partner cannot buy a higher score, and a non-paying provider is not penalized. Where compensation affects placement, we disclose it clearly on the page.
